Just ate at Tomiko-San and was extremely impressed. The sushi was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Definitely one of the best sushi restaurants I’ve been to in the Wilmington area.

ood was really good. My husband ordered the beef with rice, and I ordered a sushi roll, which tasted pretty good. It was simple but full of flavor. For appetizers, we ordered the tuna tartare and a soup. The tuna tartare came with pork skin, which I think overshadowed the flavor of the tartare. I’m The service was a bit odd. We didn’t ask for the check, but once my husband finished eating, they brought it to us. The manager was there, but they never asked how the food was, so I think the service could be improved. Overall, though, the experience was pretty good!

Top notch. Arguably the best sushi in town when it comes to quality. Surpasses Genki, in my opinion. Atmosphere is great. Staff is very friendly. And easily the best seaweed salad I have ever had. Excellent!

My wife and I recently visited Tomiko-San in Wilmington, NC for date night, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. Not only was the food amazing, but the staff made the entire evening memorable. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and taken care of. The seafood was incredibly fresh, the appetizers were outstanding, and the chef’s recommendations were spot on. The comfortable atmosphere and attention to detail made it the perfect place for a night out. What really stood out was the quality of the seafood. Be sure to ask where they source their seafood and learn more about how it’s prepared and served. The story behind the ingredients and their process is impressive and shows the level of care they put into every dish. Tomiko-San offers some of the highest-quality seafood we’ve ever had in Wilmington, North Carolina. Between the top-notch service, incredible food, and overall dining experience, we highly recommend it to both locals and anyone visiting Wilmington, NC. If you’re looking for fresh seafood, exceptional service, and a great date-night restaurant in Wilmington, Tomiko-San is a must-visit.

Absolutely wonderful place. Fresh sushi, unique options, and most of all, tasty. The staff are EXCEPTIONAL. Everyone from front of house, back of house, chefs, and management, went above and beyond to make our night so special. A beautiful intimate setting paired with beautiful personal touches. I can’t say enough great things about this establishment. Definitely put in my weekly rotation.
